I think the study program of geography it’s quite well, it’s a “new program” implemented about two or three years ago, so it is updated in general terms. But there a pair of signatures I think they’re a bit unnecessary, one example it’s Physics, I’m in 4 th semester of the career, and I’ve passed all my subjects except physics, and I never have seen something related to physics, so I think it’s a bit unnecessary. Other thing I want to change there is a pair of teachers which not explain well their signature, the “methodology’s” subjects, are in this line. The teachers of both subjects are very erudite, and they know a lot, but they only give us a topic and then evaluates it, with no feedback of the process so it’s a bit frustrating, have something, the teachers say’s it’s well, an then in the evaluations… Surprise a 2.7… So that’s the second thing I would change of the career. What is your opinion about “barras bravas” (hooligans)? I think that “Barras Bravas” are a very folkloric part in the world of soccer, but because the system, they have been straying from the right path, because topics like the drugs and the guns. All the “Barras Bravas” should return to the right path and being antifascist organizations like the ST. PAULI and “Rayo Vayecano” hooligans. We are rivals, not enemies. I'd like to do a post graduate course related to town planning, or something like that. I'm not very decided, i think other alternative could be to do a post graduate course of economic geography, but I don't know. I know that want to continue studying, but, i don't know what, I've been seeking for some info about post graduate courses, and here in Chile there aren't many attractive options for me, so I think probably I'm going to study in other country. One of my plans could be to end the career and take the opportunity of the university, study one extra year and take the FAU postgraduate course, and with that already in my pocket find a job and get some money to go and take a post graduate course in another country, like Spain or something like that. I´m not a big fan of movies or tv shows, I think one of my favorites movies is Jurassic Park or Lalaland. I like Lalaland because it was a very cute movie, with an amazing soundtrack, and I like Jurassic Park because it was my childhood. Hi, this time I’m going to write about photography. First I’ve to say that I’m not a pro in this topic, I don’t know much about types of photos, types of shots and that sort of things. I’m only a big fan of photos, specifically I like the quotidian photos, everyday photos that have something hidden, photos that can transmit something from the daily routine. I like to take photos in the city, with my cellphone, because I don’t have the money to buy a top camera. My cellphone don’t have a very nice camera, so my photos aren’t very “pro”, or something like that. I feel a bit of cringe, but there are some of my photos: I follow one guy that take street photos in the city he lives, his photos the most are related to people, stranger people doing everyday things, currently he is searching for hidden patterns in quotidian scenes. I’m studying geography in the Universidad de Chile, so in my future I think that I’m going to work in something related to this. I can’t imagine what kind of job I’m going to have, I think that I’m going to apply for the first job that I’m going to see, earn some money to go to live alone, and then decide if I’m going to continue working in that or if I’m going to seek another job. As a geographer you need to do outdoor work, and that’s something amazing, because i don’t like much the indoor works, obviously part of the job is indoor, but also you have to be on the field. I would love to travel and go to a plenty of new places, one of my dreams is go to work outside the country, and work as a geographer in a place like Japan, because the social distribution it’s a bit different with the south American cities, or Spain, just because I like to live there for a time. Hi, sincerely i’m not a big fan of “The Simpsons”. Obviously, I’ve watched the show in “Canal 13” or “FOX” while I’m dinning, but I can understand why this show it’s so popular. I other show written by Matt Groening, “Futurama”. The biggest difference between this 2 shows is that Futurama have a concrete plot, and he Simpsons it´s more episodic. I don’t like the episodic shows, because it’s like sometimes, because sometimes, the author don’t remember old things that occurred in the show, but in other chapters he put that events in the plot, so in the end you don’t have something defined. I must admit that are some funny phrases, like “No me lo agradezca a mi, si no a mi navaja” but that’s all. Also I have to admit that the show had an important cultural impact, you can see this in the streets where sometime you can find stickers of the show in some bus stops, or in the Facebook profiles, where you can see the a lot of people with the Simpsons pictures or names related to the show.
I´m going to write about my last holidays In my last holidays I went to Brasil, Rio de Janeiro specifically, it was on February, and it was my first time flying by plane. I went with my family, we were like 11 people. We went for 10 days, and we stayed in a hotel in Sao Conrado. One of the things that I liked most was the airports, the Rio’s airport and the Pudahuel airport are amazing, I don´t know why, by I fell in love with them, maybe it’s because was my first time taking a plane and going out of Chile. So I want to travel more frequently. My favorite place there in Rio were the Maracana stadium, and the museum of Flamengo (Flamengo, not Flamingo xp). That places were very special for me because they are impregnated with the history of South American soccer. Even we went to watch a match, “Flamengo vs Vasco da Gama”, it was a bit boring match, but the atmosphere of the stadium was amazing. A country I’d like to visit is Japan This is a country is an island in the Pacific Ocean, located in Asia, it´s known as “the land of the rising sun”, cause the meaning of the Kanjis that conforms the name in Japanese. The japan culture is very rich, this go from the history of the shoguns and samurais, to the manga and the anime, passing by the impact of the nuclear bomb in Hiroshima. I would like to go to this country to visit the big Shinto temples in Kyoto, and large buildings in Tokyo, and take some pictures of them in the sakura (The time of the year when is the flowering of the cherry trees). Also I´m a big fan of the nihon animation and video games culture, so I’d like to visit Akihabara, also I definitely need to visit one of the Pokémon Center shops.
